Ottumwa, IA – Following a 2-0 week on the pitch, the Indian Hills Women's Soccer team swept the weekly Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Athlete of the Week awards, announced by the league office on Tuesday.
Sophomore Arnicka Louis (Castries, Saint Lucia/Sir Ira Simmons) collected her second consecutive ICCAC DI Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week honor while freshman Annabelle Combes (Valence, France/Tezenas du Montcel) was tapped as the ICCAC DI Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.
The Warriors knocked off Paris Junior College (TX) 2-0 in Paris, TX on Monday before taking down Western Wyoming Community College 4-1 in the team's home opener in Ottumwa on Sunday. The Warriors moved to 3-1-0 on the year and have jumped into the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Women's Soccer national rankings at No. 20 this week.

Louis tallied four goals on the week, tallying two in each of the team's two wins. With the four goals, Louis has now climbed into the top-10 in school history in career goals and career points for the Warriors.
The award is the third career weekly honor for Louis.
Combes led the Warrior defense with seven saves on the week to pick up two victories in net, including a complete game shutout vs. Paris, the freshman's second clean sheet of the year. Combes boasts a 1.00 goals against average and a .765 save percentage on the year.
The Warriors are back in action Sunday, September 7 with a cross-division matchup at Western Iowa Technical Community College in Sioux City, IA. Kick-off is set for 1:30 PM.
