Jon Hussak is set to begin his third season at the helm of the Indian Hills Women's Soccer program after being named the seventh head coach in program history in January 2023.

Hussak led the Warriors to a strong showing in his second season in charge of the Warrior pgoram. Indian Hills boasted a 12-6-0 overall record after advancing to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Midwest District Tournament. The Warriors completed the season with eight wins away from their home pitch, including a road win over No. 15 Motlow State Community College (TN). 

The Warriors were rewarded with eight NJCAA All-Region 11 selections following the conclusion of the season. Academically, the Warriors were named an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year for the seventh consecutive season with a 3.10 cumulative team GPA. Individually, Alexia Bru and Maria Melendez were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team while four individuals - Rocio Criado, Kiara Levac, Melendez, and Haifa Rios were named to the NJCAA All-Academic Team. In total, the Warriors garnered 28 ICCAC Academic All-Region 11 selections.

In Hussak's first season with the Warriors, the program advanced to the NJCAA Midwest District Tournament, nearly knocking off nationally ranked foe Lewis & Clark Community College before falling in penalty kicks of the semifinal round. The Warriors collected eight all-region honors, including six first-team selections. Academically, the Warriors were named an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year for the sixth consecutive season while sophomores Leila Karam and Milena Leon were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.

A native of Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, Hussak joins the program after three seasons as the head women's soccer coach at NCAA DII Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. In total, Hussak has over a decade of coaching experience, including stints as the assistant women's soccer coach at NCAA DII University of West Florida and the head coach of the women's soccer program at NJCAA Andrew College (GA). Hussak has also served as the goalkeepers coach at NCAA DI University of North Florida and the associate coach at Cambrian College in Ontario.

Hussak led Texas A&M International to a 5-6-6 record in 2022 that included an upset of No. 14 West Texas A&M to close out the season. Prior to his time at Texas A&M International, Hussak helped guide West Florida to 32 victories in two years, including a 20-1-0 mark in 2018 with a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

Hussak holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Ottawa and Nipissing University. Hussak holds a Canadian Soccer Association Provincial "B" License.

Hussak and his wife Kristen have three children - Sophie, Felix, and Isaac.
