Alan Mejia returns to the Indian Hills Women's Soccer program as an assistant coach for the second consecutive season after joining the team in May, 2024.

Mejia helped guide the Warriors into the NJCAA Midwest District Tournament while boasting a 12-6-0 overall record in his first season in Ottumwa. The Warriors collected eight NJCAA All-Region 11 selections, 28 Academic All-Region honors, and were named an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year with a 3.10 cumulative team GPA.

Mejia joined the Warrior program following a two-year stint with Boerne Soccer Club in Boerne, TX. Mejia managed multiple areas of the program while implementing practice sessions and organizing youth activities.

Mejia brings collegiate level playing experience to the Warriors after a four-year career with the Schreiner University Men's Soccer program in Kerrville, TX. Mejia also spent time as a volunteer coach at Our Lady of the Hills High School while also serving an internship with the Schreiner soccer program.

Mejia receive a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science, Fitness & Wellness degree from Schreiner University along with a Sport Communication minor.
