NJCAA DI WOMEN'S SOCCER ALL-AMERICA TEAMS
Ottumwa, IA – One of the most prolific goal scorers in program history, sophomore Arnicka Louis (Castries, Saint Lucia/Sir Ira Simmons) of the Indian Hills Women's Soccer squad has been named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Women's Soccer All-America Second-Team, announced Tuesday morning.
Louis, who capped a remarkable two-year career with the Warriors in 2025, becomes the sixth NJCAA All-American in program history, and first since the 2021 season. Louis helped guide the Warriors to a 13-3-1 overall record in 2025 along with a trip to the NJCAA DI Women's Soccer Central District Tournament.
Louis boasted the seventh-most points in the nation this year with 50 while her 20 goals ranked sixth among all NJCAA DI Women's Soccer participants this year. Both totals rank fifth-most in a single season in school history for the Warriors.
The sophomore tallied a goal in 12 of the team's 17 matches on the year, including seven contests with at least two goals. Louis netted her first-career hat trick in a 4-0 win over Iowa Central Community College on October 7. In total, Louis netted seven game-winning goals on the year, second-most in program history.
For her efforts, Louis was also named to the 2025 NJCAA All-Region 11 First-Team and was a three-time Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week. Louis was also tapped as the NJCAA DI Women's Soccer National Player of the Week earlier in the year.
Louis leaves Indian Hills as one of the most decorated players in program history. The forward ranks third all-time in career points (81), fourth all-time in career goals (31), sixth all-time in career assists (19), and second all-time in game-winning goals (9). In total, Louis ranks in the top-10 in program history in seven different statistical offensive categories.
Louis joins former Warriors Bailey Wiemann (2021), Elani Mears (2020), Emily Murphy (2019, 2018), and Laura Hallissey (2017) to earn NJCAA All-American honors.
Over the course of her two-year career with the Warriors, Louis helped guide the program to 25 wins while appearing multiple times in the top-10 of the NJCAA national rankings.
