ANDERSON COLLECTS SECOND ICCAC HONOR

Ottumwa, IA – Sydney Ray Anderson (Elkhart, IA/North Polk) of the No. 5 Indian Hills Women's Soccer team has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.

In the freshman's first-career start, Anderson posted a complete game shutout to lead the Warriors to a 2-0 nonconference victory on the road at Illinois Central Community College. Against the top team from the NJCAA Region 24, Anderson stopped a pair of shots while managing the defense to the team's ninth shutout of the season.

Anderson was previously named ICCAC Athlete of the Week after guiding the Warriors to a victory over then-No. 4 Iowa Western Community College on Sept. 25.

The Warriors head to Iowa Western Wednesday night to take on the No. 8 Reivers in a pivotal ICCAC matchup. Wednesday's start time has been pushed back to 6:30 PM at Titan Stadium due to weather conditions.
