WIEMANN COLLECTS FOURTH ICCAC HONOR

Ottumwa, IA – For the fourth time this season, sophomore Bailey Wiemann (Burlington, IA/Burlington) of the No. 6 Indian Hills Community College Women's Soccer team has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Division I Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week.

Wiemann led the Warriors to two wins last week to keep the team undefeated on the season at 13-0-0 and 3-0-0 in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) play. Wiemann tallied three assists in a 16-0 win over Black Hawk College (IL) on Wednesday before scoring all three goals in a 3-0 win over Iowa Central Community College on Saturday.

Wiemann became the first player in the nation to reach 50 points on the year. The sophomore currently ranks second in the country with 50 points, third with 18 goals, and second with 14 assists on the season. Wiemann has tallied at least two points in all but one game on the season.

The Warriors take on Illinois Central Community College Wednesday afternoon in Peoria, IL.
