WESTPHAL LANDS ICCAC WEEKLY HONOR

Ottumwa, IA – Coming off back-to-back shutouts in net, freshman goalkeeper Trisha Westphal (Lockridge, IA/Fairfield) of the Indian Hills Women's Soccer team has been named this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week.

Westphal has managed one of the stingiest defenses across the nation as the Warriors have allowed just two goals on the year. Last week, Westphal collected two shutouts – a 5-0 win at Southeastern on Sept. 1 and a 10-0 victory at home vs. NIACC on Sept. 4. The clean sheets were the second and third of Westphal's career.

Following Westphal's selection as this week's ICCAC Goalie of the Week, Westphal added another shutout Wednesday afternoon in a 7-0 victory at Scott Community College

Westphal has played all 630:00 minutes in net for the Warriors and boasts a 0.29 goals against average on the year. The freshman's record sits at an unblemished 7-0-0 on the year and has a .714 save percentage.

The Warriors return home on Sunday, Sept. 12 to take on Northeast Community College at 5:00 PM at Schafer Stadium.
