Ottumwa -- Indian Hills sophomore midfielder Lexi Vaughn (pictured above) has been named the women's soccer Player of the Week by the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference for her performance in last week's game against Iowa Lakes.

Vaughn, from Marshalltown, Ia., scored one of the Warriors' goals in the 3-1 conference victory against the Lakers. She had two near-misses as well, hitting the crossbar twice with two of her 10 shots in the match, which tied for the team high in shots. Vaughn also added an assist on a goal by Rilee Miller as IHCC picked up its first league win.
