Ottumwa -- A late goal by Indian Hills freshman Stephanie Faust (pictured above) got the Warriors back in Tuesday's conference matchup with Scott CC, but the Warriors couldn't get the tying goal and fell to Scott, 2-1, at the IHCC field.

Emily McAleer got the first goal of the afternoon when she beat IHCC keeper Marta Lopez to score in the 15th minute. Teammate Amber Marland doubled the advantage for the visitors when she scored just before halftime.

Faust's goal, off a deflection, came in the 84th minute, the lone score of the day for the Warriors, who dropped to 1-2 in the conference and 3-2 overall.

Indian Hills heads to Cedar Rapids on Sunday for an evening match with the Coe College JV, starting at 6 p.m.
