Ottumwa -- A second-half goal by Valona Aliu was the highlight as Indian Hills lost a 7-1 decision to Iowa Lakes at the IHCC field on Saturday.
Aliu, a sophomore, scored in the 67th minute to cut the Lakers' lead to 5-1, but ILCC added two late goals for the final margin.
Aliu's goal was unassisted and was one of three IHCC shots on goal in the game; the others were by Alison Knipe and Joelyn Robinson.
Irie Robinson and Jenna Erbacher shared goalkeeper duties for the Warriors. Robinson stopped six shots and Erbacher made five saves.
Lilah Tuttle had three of Iowa Lakes' first four goals, two of them in the first half.
The IHCC women are idle until taking on the Culver-Stockton JV at home next Sunday.
