Ottumwa -- Iowa Central CC rolled to a 9-0 halftime lead and defeated home-standing Indian Hills, 16-0, in Iowa Community College Athletic Conference action at the IHCC field on Saturday afternoon.
Geovana Alves assisted on the Tritons' first goal of the day nine minutes into the match and then went on to score six goals of her own to lead Iowa Central's attack.
Iowa Central dominated play, only allowing the Warriors one shot. IHCC goalkeepers Jeanna Erbacher and Irie Robinson each had eight saves while splitting the duties in goal.
Indian Hills will stay at home to host Scott CC on Wednesday afternoon at the IHCC field.
