IHCC Women Get First Win

White Bear Lake, MN -- Fueled by goals by Karianne Bolt and Cameron Barbera, the Indian Hills women got their first win of the season on Wednesday, shutting out Century College, 2-0. IHCC goalkeeper Ashley Hartnedy stopped all four shots on goal that she faced in the Warrior win.

Bolt got the Warriors' first goal when she scored off an assist from Barbera in the 9th minute of the opening half. Barbera added an unassisted goal eight minutes later and the IHCC defense had its best performance of the season in blanking the home team.

In addition to Bolt and Barbera, Alisha Dewitt and Karina Sonalio also had shots on goal for Indian Hills which picked up the victory after losing its first seven matches of the season.

The Warriors will host Iowa Central CC on Saturday at the IHCC field.
