TEEING OFF
The 2026 edition of the NJCAA Central District Championship tees off Monday morning in Springfield, MO.
- The Warriors head into postseason play as the No. 1 ranked team in the nation in both the Clippd Scoreboard rankings and the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) rankings.
- The Warriors currently sit atop the Clippd Scoreboard rankings by more than 20.00 team points, the widest margin of any spot in the national poll.
- Indian Hills has captured four team titles this season heading into the postseason. In total, the Warriors have placed in the top-three in the team standings in seven of the team's nine events this year.
- Through four spring events, the Warriors have lowered their team average round score by at least five strokes from the fall season.
- Five different individuals have led the Warriors in the team's nine tournaments on the year.
- The Warriors currently boast five individuals in the top-13 of the national rankings, the most of any team in the nation.

WARRIORS AT DISTRICTS
One of the premiere junior college golf programs in the country, the Warriors will head into postseason with 13 District titles in school history, all since 2004, to go along with the seven national championships.
- The Warriors most recently captured the 2024 NJCAA Central District Championship at Tiffany Greens Golf Club in Kansas City, MO.
- Indian Hills finished as runners-up at last year's District tournament, placing second overall behind Garden City Community College (KS).
- Sophomores Nathan Pouchoulon (T6) and Roman Roth (T10) earned top-10 finishes while Charlie Preston placed 12th overall.
- The Warriors have earned 15 consecutive top-three finishes at the District tournament, including a span of 10 consecutive titles from 2010-2019.

"We are really looking forward to the District tournament at River Cut Golf Course," stated head coach Michael Wetrich. "The team has been playing well all spring and I know they are ready to get the postseason started. We are also excited to play a new venue this year at River Cut Golf Course. It should be a great test for the players."
SCOUTING THE COURSE
Named to GolfWeek's Top 10 Missouri Public Golf Course (2022) and rated Golf Digest's No. 1 Missouri Municipal Golf Course (2009), Rivercut is the "Crown Jewel" of the Park Board's public courses. This 18-hole championship course is exceptionally designed to maximize the challenges of the game amidst a breathtaking setting.

SCOUTING THE FIELD
Indian Hills wil be joined by fellow ICCAC member Iowa Western Community College in the NJCAA Central District Championship along with five schools from NJCAA Region 6 (Kansas), NJCAA Region 24's John A. Logan, and NJCAA Region 16's Crowder.
- Hutchinson (KS) ranks No. 7 in the national poll followed by No. 11 Garden City (KS), No. 14 Iowa Western, No. 18 Dodge City (KS), and No. 20 John A. Logan (IL).
- No. 26 Barton (KS), No. 27 Crowder (MO), and No. 40 Coffeyville (KS) round out the field.
- While Indian Hills' Charlie Preston (No. 3) and Harry McArdle (No. 7) enter the tournament as the top-ranked individuals, Hutchinson's Corey Scullion (No. 8) and Jack Northgraves (No. 14) will battle for the top medalist honor.
- Garden City's Ilan Dufrenoy, ranked No. 16 in the national polls, is the defending District champion.
- Indian Hills and Hutchinson are the only two teams in this year's field to have won national titles - seven for Indian Hills and two for Hutchinson (2022, 2021)

WHAT'S NEXT
With a top-three team finish, the Warriors will earn an automatic bid to the upcoming NJCAA DI Men's Golf National Championship, set for May 12-15 at Sand Creek Station Golf Course in Newton, KS. A total of 12 teams across the four NJCAA District tournaments will earn automatic bids while eight teams have the opportunity to earn an at-large bid.
