Ottumwa, IA – Freshman Frank Vucic (Adelaide, Australia/ Seaford Secondary College) of the Indian Hills Men's Golf has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Division I Golfer of the Week. The honor is the second of the year for Vucic.
In the team's first completed event of the spring season, Vucic powered the Warriors to a third-place finish at the Lindenwood Invitational in St. Charles, MO. Vucic placed second overall at the meet primarily comprised of four-year universities, just one stroke off of the first-place finisher.
Vucic carded a 2-over 215 at the event for his fourth runner-up finish of his young collegiate career. Vucic carded back-to-back rounds of 71 to open the invite with the second round score the lowest of any golfer in the round. The freshman tallied a 73 in the closing round for the second-place finish.
The Warriors are in action currently at the Butler Spring Invitational in Indianapolis, IN.
