VUCIC LANDS ICCAC GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Ottumwa, IA – Freshman Frank Vucic (Adelaide, Australia/Seaford Secondary) of the No. 7 Indian Hills Men's Golf team has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Golfer of the Week. Vucic is the second Warrior to claim the honor this season.

Vucic was named top conference golfer for the week of Sept. 20-26 for his play at the John A. Logan Invitational. Vucic carded a 3-under 139 at the Kokopelli Golf Club to finish second overall, his best collegiate showing as a Warrior. Vucic fired a 2-under 69 in the opening round and closed out the event with a 1-under 70 in the second round.

Vucic and the Warriors put together another impressive showing at the MVC Fall Invitational Sept. 27-28 as Vucic finished second overall with a 9-under 207 to lead Indian Hills to the team title.

Vucic joins fellow teammate Damian Osner (George, South Afria/Glenwood House) who was named ICCAC DI Men's Golf Athlete of the Week on Sept. 15.

Next up for the seventh ranked Warriors is a trip to the Grover Page Classic in Jackson, TN on Oct. 4-5.
