In his debut season with the Warriors, Wynn continued the legacy of Indian Hills Women's Wrestling success, guiding the program to its fifth consecutive national championship. Ranked No. 1 in the nation throughout the duration of the year, the Warriors cruised to the national title with 294.5 team points and three individual national champions. The program secured 16 All-American honors, including 13 top-three finishes.
Under Wynn's guidance, the Warriors saw national championship performances from freshmen Nevaeh Hayden (180lbs), Ariah Mervilus (110lbs) and Kennedi Johnson-Washinton (235lbs). For her efforts on the mat, Hayden was named TheOpenMat National Wrestler and National Freshman of the Year.

Following the conclusion of the season, Wynn was tapped as TheOpenMat National Women's Coach of the Year and the NJCAA National Women's Coach of the Year.

"I am blessed to have the opportunity to come back to a successful wrestling program and a caring institution," Wynn stated following his appointment as the head women's wrestling coach at Indian Hills. "At the same time, I'm excited to push these student-athletes to become greater individuals, greater students, and when it's all said and done – great wrestlers."
Wynn spent the past season on both the men's and women's staff at Lindenwood, helping both program advance to the National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NWCA) Championships in Louisiana. The men's program captured the NWCA Southwest Conference Tournament championship with six individual conference champions.
Prior to his time at Indian Hills, Wynn served as the graduate assistant coach at Life University in Georgia, guiding the program to a third-place finish at the 2019 NAIA National Tournament, capturing five All-American honors and seven scholar All-Americans.
