Kenadie Buysse enters her third season as an assistant coach with the Indian Hills Softball program in 2024-25. Buysse helped lead the Warriors to a runner-up finish in back-to-back years at the NJCAA Region 11 Championship.
Buysse has helped guide back-to-back ICCAC Offensive Player of the Year honorees in Ava Smith (2025) and Eva Fulk (2024) to go along with a total of 20 NJCAA All-Region 11 selections in the past two seasons. Academically, the Warriors have proven to be one of the top teams in the nation after earning back-to-back NJCAA Academic Team of the Year honors, including a cumulative 3.80 team GPA in 2024-25, the sixth-highest mark across the country.
Buysse aids in all aspects of the Warrior program, including on-field development, practice planning, scouting, academic oversight, and recruiting. Buysse helped lead 10 individuals to earn NJCAA All-Region 11 honors on the field in 2024 while the program was named an NJCAA Academic Team of the Year after posting a 3.80 cumulative GPA, the highest among all Indian Hills Athletics programs. In addition, the Warriors landed four College Sports Communicators Academic All-American honorees in Tatum Aragon, Eva Fulk, Julia Kwakernaak, and Claire Tipon.
Buysse joined the Warrior coaching staff prior to the 2024 season following a standout career at Black Hawk College (IL). As a member of the Black Hawk program, Buysse helped capture the program's first Arrowhead Conference title in nearly a decade while serving as team captain during the 2022-23 academic year. Following the 2023 campaign, Buysse was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar All-American. Buysse was also named to the Arrowhead Conference Academic All-Conference Team as the program earned the highest team GPA in the Black Hawk Athletic Department. On the field, Buysse posted a .321 batting average in 56 career games.
In addition to her responsibilities with the Indian Hills Softball program, Buysse serves as an Admissions Representative at Indian Hills Community College.
Buysse received an Associate of Arts degree in Criminal Justice/Sociology from Black Hawk. Buysse is currently working towards a Bachelor of Arts degree from Upper Iowa University.
