FULK NAMED TO NFCA MIDWEST REGION TEAM

Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Eva Fulk (Ankeny, IA/Ankeny) of the Indian Hills Softball team was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I All-Midwest Region Second-Team, announced Monday afternoon by the NFCA.

Fulk, the 2024 Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Offensive Player of the Year, adds another accolade to a breakout season. The sophomore was previously named to the NJCAA All-Region 11 First-Team while also earning ICCAC and NJCAA Athlete of the Week honors throughout her sophomore campaign.

Fulk, who will continue her academic and athletic career at Rockhurst University next season, produced career-high numbers in batting average (.438), on-base percentage (.516), slugging percentage( .577), runs scored (73), hits (85), doubles (14), triples (5), and RBI (35).

For her career at Indian Hills, Fulk totaled 138 hits and 116 runs scored. Fulk becomes just the fifth player in school history to record at least 100 career hits, 100 career runs, and 60 career stolen bases.

Fulk was one of just two individuals from the ICCAC to be named to one of the two NFCA Midwest Region teams, comprised of 24 total student-athletes.
