Indian Hills is set to make its second road trip of the early season with a trek to Hot Springs, AR to take on National Park College for the first time in program history.
LEADING OFF
The Warriors are coming off a 2-2 trip to Millington, TN where the Warriors split four contests at the Flag City Classic.
- Indian Hills secured bookend wins, taking the opener 11-6 over Olney Central College (IL) and the finale vs. Kaskaskia College (IL) 10-0.
- Sophomore Diego Mendez powered the offense to earn ICCAC Athlete of the Week honors

- Freshman Brody Geist delivered a double, triple, and home run across three games last week to aid the offense with a .455 batting average.
- Eight different pitchers have tallied at least 2.0 IP on the year, including Dylan Eshuis who tossed 4.0 scoreless frames to earn his first collegiate win on the mound.
- Dating back to the 2011 season, Indian Hills is 4-1 vs. teams from the state of Arkansas, including a 4-0 mark in games played in The Natural State.
- Indian Hills swept all four games vs. North Arkansas College February 21-22, 2014 in Harrison, AR.
- The Warriors' 566 mile trip to Hot Springs, AR is the longest haul for the program since taking on Baton Rouge Community College (LA) in Hammond, LA March 10-12, 2022 (868 miles).
SCOUTING THE NIGHTHAWKS
National Park, in just its sixth year competing at the NJCAA level, are off to an 0-5 start to open the 2026 campaign.
- The Nighthawks have opened the new year against perennial national contenders LSU Eunice and Connors State, dropping all five contests.
- National Park was outscored 61-8 during the opening stretch of play.
- Sophomore Cam Landy leads the offense with a .375 batting average.
- National Park is under the direction of interim head baseball coach Cole Rodriguez who was elevated to the position in January.
WHAT'S NEXT
The Warriors will hit the road once again to take on Cowley College (KS) for a four-game series February 27-28. The Tigers are ranked No. 16 in the preseason NJCAA DI Baseball Poll.

Former Indian Hills outfielder Ethan Acevedo (2025), now a member of Virginia Commonwealth University delivered a walk-off RBI in his debut plate appearance for the Rams on February 13.
