Centerville, IA – No. 1 nationally ranked Indian Hills Women's Wrestling is set to make its home opener Wednesday night at the Multi-Purpose Building on the Indian Hills Centerville campus. The Warriors will host No. 5 nationally ranked Southeast Community College (NE).

The five-time defending national champions and No. 1 ranked team in the nation, Indian Hills will make its home debut Wednesday night with a top-five National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) clash at the Multi-Purpose Building as the Southeast Bobcats come to town.

MAT NOTES

Indian Hills is set to make its 2025 debut on its home mat with a nationally ranked matchup vs. the Bobcats of Southeast.

  • The Warriors are currently ranked No. 1 in the nation in both TheOpenMat Team Dual and Team Tournament rankings.
  • Indian Hills is currently 1-0 in duals on the year, a 49-5 win at Southeastern Community College on November 5.
  • Indian Hills boasts four individuals in the top-10 of the national pound-for-pound rankings
  • The Warriors claim 15 individuals in the top-10 of the national rankings between the 11 weight classes, including three No. 1 ranked wrestlers.

HONORING THE CHAMPS

Prior to Wednesday's dual, the Warriors will recognize their 2025 National Championship squad with an official ring ceremony. The Warriors captured their fifth consecutive national title, and third at the NJCAA level to go along with 16 All-Americans and three indiviudal national champions.

SIZING UP THE BOBCATS

Southeast, ranked No. 5 in the nation in TheOpenMat Team Dual rankings, is coming off a fifth-place finish at the 2025 NJCAA Women's Wrestling Invitational.

  • The Bobcats are 2-0 in duals this season, earning a 36-9 win over Midland University (NE) and a 41-6 dual win over Colby Community College (KS).
  • Southeast returns two All-Americans from last season, including 207lb national champion Martha Hinneh.
  • The Bobcats are in their third season of NJCAA competition.
  • Head women's coach Jacob Hamilton is in his third season at the helm of the program.

The Warriors' homestand continues with an ICCAC dual vs. No. 15 nationally ranked North Iowa Area Community College at the Multi-Purpose Building Wednesday, December 3 at 6:00 PM as part of a doubleheader with the men's squad.
