Ottumwa -- Indian Hills ran its season record to 15-1 with a three-set victory against visiting Carl Sandburg (Ill.) CC on Thursday night at the Net Center.

The Warriors were challenged by the Chargers, with 15 ties and a number of lead changes, but prevailed in straight sets, winning 25-16, 25-13 and 25-18.

It was a night when all 15 players on the IHCC roster contributed. Coach Lyndsey Lyon-Michel utilized a couple of different setters and 10 players were credited with at least one kill.

Tamara Merseli and Kameo Pope led the way in the hitting stats with nine kills apiece. Pope had five blocks and Jessica Eekhoff had four. Lauren Streets collected six digs and the Warriors had ten ace serves, from six different players.

Indian Hills will stay at home next week for two matches. They will host Missouri State-West Plains on Monday night and the Grand View JV on Wednesday evening.
