Ottumwa -- The No. 15-ranked Indian Hills volleyball team recovered well from their first defeat of the season three nights before, handling Iowa Lakes, rated 19th in the latest NJCAA Division II poll, at the Net Center on Saturday.

Indian Hills won the match in three sets, beating Iowa Lakes 25-19, 25-16 and 25-13. The victory moves the Warriors' season mark to 14-1, the only loss coming in the previous match Wednesday at Iowa Western.

Freshman Lauren Streets paced the Warriors, statistically, with a dozen kills and nine digs. Freshman Tamara Merseli chipped in nine kills, four digs and a pair of ace serves. Kameo Pope, another frosh, led with six blocks.

The Warriors stay at home to battle Carl Sandburg (Ill.) on Thursday night at 7:00.
