Council Bluffs, Iowa -- Indian Hills was in position to extend the match with eighth-ranked Iowa Western for at least one more set before the Reivers scored five straight points and closed out a sweep of the Warriors on Tuesday night. Iowa Western won by scores of 25-15, 25-14 and 25-22 in finishing a season sweep of the Warriors.

The Warriors had won a set from IWCC in an earlier matchup in Ottumwa and were poised to duplicate that in this match before Iowa Western closed the match with a burst.

Shelby Lauterbach led Indian Hills with nine kills and setter Katie Soddy had 21 assists for the Warriors.

Indian Hills looks to get back on the winning track when it hosts the Grand View JV on Thursday night at the Net Center.
