After losing a four-set match to a ranked DMACC team, Indian Hills bounced back to defeat Southeastern CC in a triangular hosted by SCC on Wednesday.
IHCC took the first set from DMACC, ranked 11th in DII, 28-26, but dropped the next three.
Peyton Crosser's 11 kills led the Warriors and Shelby Lauterbach added nine.
Indian Hills won the fifth and deciding set against the Blackhawks, 15-9, improving their record in five-set matches to 2-1.
Camila Leite had 13 kills for IHCC, including three in the fifth set. Crosser also tallied 13 kills.
Indian Hills will play four matches in a tournament at Kirkwood CC this Friday and Saturday.
