A successful weekend in which they won three of four matches allowed Indian Hills to get back to .500 on the season. The Warriors defeated Lewis & Clark and Carl Sandburg on Friday and added a match win against East Central (Mo.) on Saturday before losing to Lake Land (Ill.).

IHCC was impressive on Friday in winning three-set matches from both Lewis & Clark and Carl Sandburg. The scores were 25-16, 25-16 and 25-19 in the first match of the day and 25-15, 25-23 and 25-6 in the second match.

Shelby Lauterbach had a team-high 19 kills in those contests, Katie Soddy had 29 assists, Kassidy Guihan 26 digs and Lauterbach added four ace serves.

Lauterbach turned in 14 kills in the Saturday win and she also posted 13 digs and five blocks.

Against Lake Land, Peyton Crosser had eight kills and Lauterbach had 10 digs.

Indian Hills returns home with a 9-9 record to play host to Iowa Lakes on Monday night.
