Centerville, IA – Indian Hills Men's Wrestling held steady in the national rankings to open up the new year after checking in at No. 5 for the third consecutive poll. The Warriors remain the top ranked Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) team in the rankings.

The undefeated Warriors, who were ranked No. 5 in the preseason National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) poll and the first regular season poll in December, earned 51 points in the January poll. Indian Hills sits behind top-ranked Western Wyoming College, Pratt Community College (KS), Clackamas Community College (OR) and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.

Other ICCAC foes in the national rankings include No. 7 NIACC, No. 8 Iowa Western Community College, No. 10 Iowa Central Community College, No. 18 Ellsworth Community College, and No. 20 Iowa Lakes Community College.

The Warriors have jumped out to a 3-0 conference dual record along with three impressive showings at open meets. All three dual victories have come against nationally ranked opponents.

Along with the Warriors' team rank, six individuals remained near the top of the individual national rankings. Sophomores Caleb Meekins (Livonia, MI/John Glenn) of the 133lb weight class and Deron Pulliam (Columbus, OH/Dublin Scioto) of the 184lb weight class are ranked No. 1 in their respective class for the second consecutive poll.

Sophomore Chris Busutil (Homestead, FL/South Ridge) checks in at No. 5 in the 125lb weight class while Victor Guzman (Rock Island, FL/Rock Island) is ranked No. 7 at the 141lb weight class. Cameron Nesbitt (Champaign, IL/Centennial) is ranked No. 7 in the 165lb weight class and Khris Walton (Merrillville, IN/Merrillville) is ranked No. 6 in the 197lb weight class.

The Warriors return to action Jan. 14-15 at the National Duals in Miami, OK in Miami, OK.
