NORCOTT NAMED ICCAC DI GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Poppy Norcott (Wiltshire, United Kingdom/Hartpury College) of the No. 9 nationally ranked Indian Hills Women's Golf squad has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Women's Golfer of the Week, announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Norcott led the Warriors in the team' final event of the fall season at the Tulsa Cup in Broken Arrow, OK. Norcott placed 12th overall to lead the Warriors to a top-10 team finish at Forest Ridge Golf Club.

Norcott fired back-to-back rounds of 75 to open the event, a career-low round at Indian Hills for the sophomore. Norcott finished the event with a third round 78 for her most complete round over the past two seasons with the Warriors.

The sophomore has now posted three top-20 individual finishes throughout the year for Indian Hills.

Norcott becomes the third different individual to earn ICCAC Athlete of the Week honors this season for the Warriors.

Indian Hills will return to action for its spring season in March.
