WARRIORS CRACK TOP-10 FOR FIRST TIME

Ottumwa, IA – In the latest edition of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Women's Golf Scoreboard Powered by Clippd rankings, the Indian Hills Women's Golf team cracked the top-10 for the first-time this season.

The Warriors climbed two spots from last week's poll to jump to No. 10, the highest rank of the year in the inaugural season of competition for the Warriors. Indian Hills is now the highest ranked team from the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC), jumping ahead of No. 11 Iowa Western Community College.

The Warriors placed five individuals in the top-100 as four members of the team climbed in this week's poll. Freshman Joska Nelis (Haarlem, Netherlands/Lyceum Sancta Maria) made her biggest jump of the season, climbing seven spots to No. 24 in the ratings.

Freshman Veronica Rodriguez (Santiago, Chile/Liceo A-1310 Buin) jumped to No. 50 while Poppy Norcott (Wiltshire, United Kingdom/Hartpury College) moved up two spots to No. 64. Taylor Pacheco (Chula Vista, CA/Olympian) moved up one spot in the national poll to No. 71 while Sofia Saavedra (Barquisimeto, Venezuela/Dawere International) checked in at No. 85 in this week's rankings.

Indian Hills will return to action for the spring season as the Warriors gear up for a postseason run.
