Fayetteville, AR – Indian Hills Men's Track & Field standout Raynier Galvez (Paterson, NY/Passaic County), one of the most decorated individuals in program history, added another remarkable feat to his resume Friday night at the John McDonnell Invitational hosted by Arkansas University.
Galvez, an eight-time National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American and two-time national champion, re-wrote the record books once again on the historic John McDonnell Field. Competing in the men's 800-meter run, Galvez took home top honors with a historic time of 1:44.14.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
- Galvez edged out former Indian Hills national champions Rivaldo Marshall and Tyrice Taylor, now members of the Arkansas Track & Field program.
- Marshall finished in second-place by a split second, finishing with a personal-best mark of 1:44.15, the No. 6 all-time collegiate mark.
- Taylor placed third overall with a time of 1:44.74
- Indian Hills sophomore Kemarrio Bygrave placed fifth overall in the meet with a time of 1:48.09.
- Former Indian Hills standout Cole Reinders (2022-24), now a member of Southeast Missouri State University, placed seventh overall with a time of 1:49.80.
- Indian Hills now owns six of the all-time top-10 800m marks in NJCAA history, and 14 of the top-25 marks.
