Ottumwa, IA – Sophomore Isiah Thomas of the Indian Hills Men's Track & Field team has been named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) Men's Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week after an impressive performance at the Friends University Spring Invite over the weekend.

Thomas becomes the second Warrior to earn the weekly outdoor honor from the conference office, joining teammate Aurel Tchanbi (__). As a program, the Warriors collected three total conference Athletes of the Week this week along with a pair of female honors in Haleigh Hadley and the women's 4x100-meter relay squad.

Thomas competed in three separate events for the Warriors in Wichita, KS this week, setting new personal standards along the way. Individually, Thomas starred in the men's 100-meter dash. In the preliminary round, Thomas set a personal best time of 10.50 to qualify for the national championship. Thomas followed up the finals with a time of 10.39 to place third overall. The time is also the third-best time in school history and currently ranks No. 9 in the NJCAA this year.
