Warriors Lose Hard-Fought Contest to NIACC

Ottumwa -- Indian Hills was unable to duplicate an earlier win over NIACC, the Warriors dropping a 1-0 decision to the Trojans on Saturday at the IHCC field.

Dion Dozzell scored on a penalty kick in the 30th minute and NIACC used that goal to avenge a 2-1 loss to IHCC last month.

Both goalkeepers played well, facing a minimal number of shots. IHCC's Ricardo Haro had three saves and the Trojans' Colin Anderson made four stops.

Indian Hills is 5-9 for the season, 4-7 in the conference. The Warriors still have two regular season contests left to play, both of them at home. They will face Iowa Central next Tuesday at 3 p.m. and will host Northeast CC on Saturday.
