Ottumwa -- Visiting Culver-Stockton pushed home the winning goal in the 88th minute and defeated Indian Hills 4-3 in soccer action at the IHCC field on Sunday.
The Warriors three times in the match had a one-goal lead, but couldn't maintain the advantage and the loss dropped their season record to 2-10.
Gerald Valera got Indian Hills on the scoreboard early on, netting an unassisted goal in the fourth minute of play. Culver-Stockton tied the score at one with the only other goal of the first half.
Richard Rugabisha, with an assist by Jonathan Silva, scored in the 58th minute to make it 2-1 in favor of the Warriors.
After C-S got a tying goal, Sebastion Carrion of IHCC tallied an unassisted goal in the 75th minute and Indian Hills led 3-2.
But the visitors scored three minutes later to knot the score at 3-all, and, 10 minutes after that, notched the game-winner.
The Warriors used two goalkeepers in the contest. Alex Alvarez played the first half and had two saves; Colton Mihalovich had three saves while in the net in the second half.
IHCC had ten shots on goal in the contest.
The Warriors host NIACC at 4:00 on Wednesday, looking to avenge an earlier 3-1 loss to the Trojans.
