Ottumwa, Iowa -- Iowa Central, held scoreless for the first 23 minutes of the match, erupted for three goals in a nine-minutes span and went on to defeat Indian Hills, 5-0, in men's soccer action on the IHCC field on Saturday afternoon.

Conor McKenna broke a scoreless tie in the 23rd minute and Mitchell Conning added two goals shortly after that.

IHCC goalkeeper Colton Mihalovich stopped 15 ICCC shots while Iowa Central's Fernando Cortes had seven saves.

Indian Hills faces a tough task on Wednesday as the Warriors travel to take on nationally-ranked Iowa Western in Council Bluffs.
