NIACC's Matthew Stewart scored twice in a six-minute span in the second half to snap a tie and allow the Trojans to knock off Indian Hills 5-3 on Saturday at the IHCC field.
Sebastian Carrion's first goal of the season, coming off a rebound after the NIACC goalkeeper had stopped a shot, had tied the score at 3 at the 62-minute mark of the second half. Carrion's goal followed one by Jonathan Silva three minutes earlier as the Warriors fought back from a 3-1 deficit.
But Stewart found the back of the net twice to let NIACC escape with their second win of the season and keep the Warriors winless.
IHCC's Sam Puchella opened the scoring about midway through the first half with a goal that was assisted by Richard Rugabisha. The Trojans took the lead on three consecutive goals before Indian Hills pulled even on the scores by Silva and Carrion.
IHCC goalkeeper Josh Tuttle was credited with six saves for the match.
Indian Hills will go to Canton, Mo. on Monday to take on the Culver-Stockton JV.
