Sam Puchella's offensive explosion led to Indian Hills' first win of the season on Monday as the IHCC sophomore scored four goals in a 5-2 win over the Culver-Stockton JV.
Puchella's big day started early as he took a pass from Jonathan Silva and scored just five minutes into the match. He added a pair of goals over the next nine minutes with Silva assisting on both of those scores as well. Jeremy Stufflebeem set up Puchella for another goal in the second half and Silva tallied off a feed from Puchella to end the IHCC scoring.
Josh Tuttle had six saves in goal for Indian Hills.
The Warriors made the trip to the Twin Cities on Wednesday, where they will get a chance to avenge an earlier loss to Century College.
