Ottumwa, IA – Two members of the Indian Hills Men's Basketball squad are set to compete in a pair of premiere summer showcases this week.
Returning sophomore Xavier Wilson (Kansas City, MO/Staley) and incoming transfer Zion Moore (Belle Vernon, PA/Belle Vernon) will be competing in both the JA48 from July 10-11 in Richmond, VA and the JUCO Recruiting All-American Top-100 from July 10-12 in Atlanta, GA.
The JA48 event serves as one of the premiere annual events for junior college student-athletes which limits invitations to the top 48 rising sophomores and is part of the PRO16/NXT League circuit.
Both individuals join a long list of former Warriors to receive invitations to the event, joining the likes of Mason Costello and Ater Manyuon (2025), William Beugre-Kassi (2024), Trevion LaBeaux (2023), Enoch Kalambay (2022), Braxton Bayless (2021), Taj Anderson (2021), Chris Payton (2020), Tyrese Nickelson (2020), Tyon Grant-Foster (2019), JD Mulia (2019), Malique Jacobs (2019), Devontae Lane (2018) and Lance Singh (2018).
Wilson is coming off a freshman campaign at Indian Hills that culminated with a spot on the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 11 Honorable Mention squad. Wilson appeared in all but one contest in 2025-26, making 13 starts while averaging 7.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
Moore is set to compete for the Warriors this upcoming campaign after a breakout freshman season at Harcum College (PA) where the guard averaged 15.8 points per game, including nine games with at least 20 points.
The All-American JUCO Showcase Invitational is the top event for the nation's best junior college players who are rising or returning sophomores in junior college. The NCAA certified event has served as host to a number of high-level junior college products, including current NBA players Gary Payton II, Chris Duarte, and Keon Ellis.
