Ottumwa, IA – Freshman Mason Costello (Waukee, IA/Waukee) of the No. 9 nationally ranked Indian Hills Men's Basketball squad has been named this week's Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) DI Men's Basketball Player of the Week, announced Tuesday afternoon.

In the team's lone contest last week, Costello powered the offense with a game-high 15 points on 5-8 shooting, including a perfect 3-3 performance from three-point range. Costello knocked down both of his free throw attempts to up his team-leading percentage on the year to 84.2 percent.

Costello has now scored in double-figures in five of the team's last seven contests, and nine times overall on the year. The freshman currently leads the ICCAC in three-point makes with 36 and three-point attempts with 97.

Costello becomes the seventh different Warrior to land the conference's weekly player of the week honor.

The Warriors are back in action Tuesday night with a non-conference matchup against Sauk Valley Community College. Tip-off from Dixon, IL is set for 7:00 PM.
