WARRIORS UP TO NO. 6 IN NJCAA POLL

NJCAA DI MEN'S BASKETBALL POLL - WEEK 3

Ottumwa, IA – On the heels of five consecutive road wins, the Indian Hills Men's Basketball squad jumped to No. 6 in the latest National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) DI Men's Basketball poll, released Monday afternoon.

The Warriors, who picked up two wins in Idaho before a 3-0 road swing in Illinois, move to 7-3 overall on the year. Indian Hills earned 255 points in this week's poll to climb one spot from last week's rating. The Warriors are also ranked No. 6 in this week's JUCOAdvocate Media Poll.

Indian Hills has secured wins over No. 11 Butler Community College (KS) and No. 21 College of Southern Idaho to open the new year.

The Warriors saw an impressive trip to the Prairie State with three games in four days. Indian Hills earned a convincing win at Wabash Valley College (IL) on Wednesday before knocking off John A. Logan College (IL) in Carterville, IL 78-76 on Friday night behind Trenton Walters' (Frisco, TX/Radford) buzzer beater. Indian Hills closed out the road trip with a come-from-behind 64-52 win over Shawnee Community College (IL) on Saturday.

Indian Hills returns to action Tuesday night at the Hellyer Center with a 7:00 PM date vs. Iowa Central Community College.
