Marshalltown, IA – No. 15 Indian Hills Men's Basketball returns to Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) action on Saturday night with a trip to Marshalltown Community College as the Warriors square off with the Tigers at the Student Activity Center.

SEASON AT A GLANCE
The Warriors (15-5, 0-1) are coming off a 77-74 victory over No. 23 Triton College (IL) in a nonconference road game. Indian Hills, who has appeared in each of the national rankings this year, have beaten three ranked foes, but fell to then-No. 17 Southeastern Community College 88-86 in the team's conference opener on Jan. 8. The Warriors are 8-1 overall on the road this season, including 3-0 in true road games.
Saturday night's contest is the conference opener for the Tigers (9-10, 0-0), currently riding a two-game losing streak. Marshalltown made a trip to the Hellyer Center to open the season in the Reed Overhead Doors Classic and went 1-1. The Tigers have taken on six opponents that also appear on the Warriors' schedule this season, going 2-5 overall.
The Tigers enter Saturday night's game averaging 68.7 points per game while shooting 41.3 percent from the floor.
SERIES HISTORY
The series history between the two Iowa foes dates back to the 1963-64 season. Indian Hills has posted an 87-18 all-time record against Marshalltown, winning the last 19 contests.
The Warriors last defeated the Tigers 110-59 on March 10 last season at the Hellyer Center. Indian Hills' last trip to Marshalltown resulted in a 92-58 victory on Feb. 22, 2020.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
Sophomore J'Vonne Hadley (St. Paul, MN/Northeastern) is coming off a career-night after pouring in 19 points, including the eventual game-winning basket to lift he Warriors over Triton. Hadley is averaging 6.8 points and 4.8 rebounds per contest.
The Tigers are led by returning All-Region XI selection David Roberts who is averaging a league-best 15.2 points per game. Freshman Trey Sinegal is averaging 12.4 points per game for the Tigers.
CONFERENCE IMPLICATIONS
With just three Division I programs competing for the ICCAC title and playoff seeding, Saturday night's game will play a major role in shaping up the conference standings. With Southeastern currently at the top of the standings with a 1-0 record, the Warriors and Tigers are looking to secure their first conference win of the season.
The team with the best regular season conference record earns the No. 1 overall seed and home court advantage in the NJCAA Region XI Tournament.
Marshalltown and Southeastern will square off for the first time this season on Jan. 22 in Marshalltown.
