Centerville, IA – Fresman Aiden Ennis (Scarborough, Ontario,Canada/Mary Ward Catholic) of the Indian Hills Baseball team put together an impressive outing on the mound to land Iowa Community College Athletic conference (ICCAC) DI Baseball Pitcher of the Week honors for the Warriors.

In his lone appearance on the bump last week, Ennis made the most of his time. The freshman tossed 4.1 innings of relief work to secure a 2-1 ICCAC win on the road over Ellsworth on Wednesday. The right-handed hurler allowed just one baserunner while racking up five strikeouts in the victory.

With the key conference win, Ennis improved to 3-1 overall on the year.

The Warriors return home this weekend for the regular season finale against Southeastern Community College for a three-game set at Pat Daugherty Field. Action gets underway at 2:00 PM Friday.
