Centerville -- Three members of Indian Hills' postseason Region 11 champions were named to the North All-District squad.  The Falcons who earned the honor were infielder Luis Gimenez, and outfielders Jacob Rhinesmith and Dillon Nelson.  All three are sophomores and played key roles in the Falcons' 41-20 season.

Rhinesmith led IHCC in batting average, hitting .407 while starting every one of the team's 61 games.  He also topped the Falcons in at-bats (231), hits (94), home runs (11), RBIs (59), slugging percentage (.675), and stolen bases (15).  Gimenez also put together an outstanding season, hitting .398 and scoring a team-best 63 runs.  His on-base percentage of .467 led the Falcons.  Nelson compiled a .367 batting average and paced IHCC with 22 doubles.  He had nine homers and 57 RBIs.

The North District consists of 18 schools in Iowa, Illinois and Wisconsin.  Rhinesmith, Gimenez and Nelson are three of 10 Iowa Community College Athletic Conference players named to the all-district squad.
