Centerville -- Indian Hills, fresh off a Region XI postseason tournnament title, placed eight players -- four on the first team and four on the second -- on the All-Region baseball teams announced by the conference office on Tuesday.

Pitcher Jared Spearing, infielder Luis Gimenez, and outfielders Jacob Rhinesmith and Dillon Nelson were all first-team selections; pitcher Oracio DeLeon, catcher Zach Fascia, infielder Lane Harvey and outfielder Ryan Humeniuk are on the second team.

In addition, Fascia was named the Region XI Defensive Player of the Year.

Of the all-region choices, Spearing, DeLeon, Fascia and Humeniuk are freshmen, while the other four are sophs. Nelson was also a first-team all-region pick last year.
