West Burlington, Iowa -- Fresh off a four-game ICCAC sweep over Marshalltown last weekend, the Indian Hills Falcons stepped out of the conference and knocked off Southeastern CC, 4-1, on Tuesday. The win extends the Falcons' current winning streak to seven and gives them 12 victories in their last 15 games.

IHCC got the scoring started with a two-out RBI single by Jacob Rhinesmith in the 1st, bringing home Dillon Nelson with the game's first run. Nelson drove home Colin Potrzeba in the 5th to double the lead. Two insurance runs came home in the 8th with Rhinesmith picking up another RBI hit, this one scoring Luis Gimenez, and Zachary Fascia supplying a double to knock in Rhinesmith.

Zachary Lauzon went the first five innings on the hill for IHCC and allowed only two hits while shutting out the Blackhawks. Joshmar Doran followed with three innings of relief before Fascia closed out SCC in the 9th.

Indian Hills is back in action on Wednesday in a home doubleheader against DMACC.
