Centerville -- Iowa Central banged out four home runs and used three separate three-run innings to knock off Indian Hills, 12-6, at Pat Daugherty Field on Tuesday. The two teams combined for 26 hits in the game, with Wyatt Olson supplying half of IHCC's run total with a three-run homer.
The visitors raced out to a 6-0 lead before Olson's round-tripper, his team-high 6th of the season.
Wyatt Aaberg drove in a run for the Falcons in the 5th and Dillon Nelson and Olivier Basabe had back-to-back run-scoring hits in the 8th. Indian Hills' Lane Harvey had two doubles among his three hits and Jacob Rhinesmith and Olson had two hits apiece. Olson scored twice.
Michael Starcevich, the first of five pitchers used by Indian Hills, went the first two innings and took the loss.
