Centerville -- The Indian Hills baseball team and sophomores Caleb Ratzman and Travis Bandt have been honored by the National Junior College Athletic Association for their academic performance during the 2013-14 year.
The Falcons had a team grade point average of 3.19 and earned All-Academic Team recognition from the NJCAA. It is the seventh consecutive year the IHCC baseball team has been honored for its work in the classroom.
Ratzman and Bandt were both named Athletes of Distinction.
Ratzman, from Winneconne, Wis., was listed among the student-athletes who had Superior Academic Achievement; Bandt, from Gaylord, Mich., was cited for Exemplary Academic Achievement.
The Indian Hills baseball squad was among five IHCC teams named All-Academic Teams and Ratzman and Bandt were two of the six individuals recognized by the NJCAA.
