Centerville -- The Indian Hills baseball team this week made its first appearance in the NJCAA's weekly national rankings. The Falcons, who own a season record of 38-15, are rated 20th in the NJCAA poll of the top Division I teams in the country.

Indian Hills is joined in the top 20 by Iowa Western. The Region 11 foe is 7th, up four spots from last week.

IHCC's inclusion in the rankings means there will be two rated squads of the three region teams that will get together for the postseason tournament at Pat Daugherty Field in Centerville this Saturday and Sunday.

The action starts when Iowa Western takes on Marshalltown at 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Indian Hills, the top-seeded team for the tourney, will battle the loser of that game at 2:00, and plays the winner of the opening contest at 5:00 on Saturday afternoon. The region champ will be crowned on Sunday.
