Waco, Texas -- Indian Hills scored twice in the 8th inning to pull out a 4-2 win against McLennan Community College on Tuesday. Edgar Lebron had a run-scoring single in the decisive 8th as the Falcons improved their record to 9-6.

Christian Torres started for Indian Hills and bounced back nicely after he was knocked out in the 1st inning in his last start on Sunday. This time, Torres worked five efficient innings, permitting only three hits and one run while striking out six.

Pedro Genao got the win in relief. He gave up two hits and a run in 2 2/3 innings. Cody Hinson came out of the bullpen with the tying runs on base in the 8th and retired a pinch-hitter on a line drive to 3rd. Hinson pitched around an error and a walk in the 9th to preserve the win.

Dario Polanco singled home Caleb Ratzman with the Falcons' first run in the 1st inning. Jake Lewis' RBI single brought home Mike Levar in the 4th.

Polanco and Levar each had two hits.

The Falcons continue their trip on Wednesday with a doubleheader at Hill CC in Hillsboro, Texas.
