Doughty Fires No-Hitter in Rout

Seminole, Oklahoma -- Aaron Doughty threw a five-inning no-hitter and Mitch Langer homered twice as Indian Hills came back to win their second game on Sunday, whitewashing Carl Albert, 11-0. The Falcons got blitzed in the first game of the day, Seminole State slugging six homers in an 17-1 rout.

Doughty faced only three batters over the minimum and struck out six in getting his first win of the spring. His teammates backed him with a 10-hit attack that included Langer two HRs, two doubles by Junior Santos and a pair of singles by Kyle Keck.

Langer had a two-run homer in a four-run 1st and a solo shot in the 4th. Keck singled in a run in the 2nd and had a two-run single the next inning.

The Falcons were held to only two hits -- a single by Dario Polanco and a double by Santos -- in the game with Seminole and struck out 15 times.

The Trojans jumped on IHCC starter Christian Torres with three runs in the 1st, added five more in the 2nd, five in the 3rd and two in both the 5th and 6th. Torres and three relievers -- Sean Cruz, Jordan Magers and Jacob Dilks -- surrendered 14 hits and walked six.

A doubleheader at Navarro College on Monday is the next stop on the southern trip for the Falcons.
