Ottumwa, IA – 20 members of the Indian Hills Community College Athletic Department have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Men's & Women's College Division At-Large Teams, announced Tuesday afternoon.
The group becomes just the third set of student-athletes in Indian Hills history to be named to the prestigious CSC Academic All-District® teams.
13 different Indian Hills Athletic programs were represented with 10 females and 10 males honored by CSC. Three members of the Indian Hills Softball and Women's Soccer programs were honored while two members of the baseball, men's golf, volleyball, and men's wrestling earned a spot on this year's team. The men's and women's cross country and track & field squads earned three nods in total in addition to one selection from the men's basketball, men's soccer, and women's golf squads.
In total, seven individuals named to the CSC Academic All-District® teams also earned National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-American honors for their athletic performance during the academic year.
Select individuals from the CSC Academic All-District® teams will advance to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot which will be voted upon in July.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a 3.50 grade point average or higher and be a sophomore academically and athletically. On the field, student-athletes must have competed in a specific percentage of competitions in their respective sport while achieving athletic excellence in their respective sport.
The 2026 Academic All-District® College Division teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the playing surfaces and in the classroom. A specific division, the College Division, was formally recognized in 2018 to provide additional opportunities for two-year colleges throughout the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
