2021 Indian Hills Early Signing Day Photo Gallery
Ottumwa, IA – Eight Indian Hills Community College student-athletes announced their commitment to four-year universities on Thursday afternoon, signing their official National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers at the next level.
Damoy Allen – Men's Track & Field | University of Iowa
- Allen helped put the Indian Hills Track & Field program on the national stage as a freshman during the 2021 season. Allen helped set two program records, including a third-place finish and school record in the 4x100 relay at the NJCAA Outdoor National Championships. Allen was also a member of the 4x100 and 4x400 NJCAA Region XI Championship teams. A native of Utica, NY, Allen joined the Warrior program as a walk-on student-athlete and will now head to the B1G 10 conference to compete for the Hawkeyes.
Precious Daley – Volleyball | University of North Carolina at Pembroke
- A two-year member of the Indian Hills Volleyball squad, Daley set her mark as one of the top performers in program history. A two-year NJCAA All-Region XI First-Team selection, Daley joined the 500-kill club for her career as a sophomore. In the classroom, Daley was twice named to the NJCAA Academic All-Region XI First-Team as well as selection to the NJCAA All-Academic team. Daley will head off to UNC Pembroke to compete for former Indian Hills assistant coach Carly Wehling.
Colten Glosser – Men's Cross Country, Track & Field | University of Tennessee at Martin
- Glosser helped guide the Indian Hills Cross Country team to its two best national championship performances. As a freshman, the Warriors placed seventh overall at the national meet and finished 12th overall during the Fall 2021 season. Glosser was a two-time member of the NJCAA All-Academic Third-Team and a two-time selection to the NJCAA Academic All-Region XI First-Team. Glosser earned his Associate of Arts degree from Indian Hills following the Fall 2021 Term and will head to UT-Martin in January.
Kennedy Preston – Softball | Missouri Western State University
- Preston helped lead the Warriors to 41 wins as a freshman in the Spring 2021 season. Preston appeared in 39 games as a true freshman and boasted a .415 batting average to go along with seven home runs and 47 RBI. Preston was a two-time NJCAA Academic All-Region XI First-Team selection and a third-team member of the NJCAA All-Academic team last season. Missouri Western won 27 games last season at the NCAA Division II level.
Gavin Hinckley – Baseball |Nicholls State University
- A native of West Bend, WI, Hinckley helped lead the Warriors to its first JUCO World Series appearance since 2004 last season. On the mound, Hinckley contributed 37.1 innings of work while posting a 2-2 record and three saves in 19 appearances. Hinckley was a two-time member of the NJCAA Academic All-Region XI team and will head off to compete for the Colonels at the NCAA Division I level in the Southland Conference.
Jack Payne – Baseball |University of Central Missouri
- Jack Payne joined the Warrior program at the start of the Fall 2021 season after a one-year stint at Louisiana Tech University. A right-handed pitcher from San Antonio, TX, Payne will head off to Central Missouri where the Mules won 46 games last season and advanced to the NCAA Division II World Series.
Arturo Rodriguez – Baseball | Nicholls State University
- Rodriguez was a member of the 2021 JUCO World Series team that won 44 games and an NJCAA Region XI Championship. Rodriguez served as a two-way player, making 11 appearances on the mound while recording 73 at bats at the plate. Rodriguez was named twice to the NJCAA Academic All-Region XI team as a freshman and will join teammate Gavin Hinckley in Thibodeaux, LA.
Douglas Rojas – Baseball |West Texas A&M University.
- Rojas was a key contributor to the Warriors' JUCO World Series run, posting a perfect 6-0 record on the mound while appearing in 13 contests with 44.1 innings of work. Rojas earned the decisive win in the NJCAA Midwest District Championship, knocking off top-ranked Wabash Valley to send the Warriors to Grand Junction, CO. Rojas was a two-time selection to the NJCAA Academic All-Region XI team and a third-team member of the NJCAA All-Academic team. Rojas will join a Buffs program that went 34-9 a season ago.
